Ok, I've switched to these dome inserts instead of the old home depot chair tips.
They look better. More sword like. You can order them all over.
A nut fits perfectly inside, and creates more tip swing weight. That's nice.
And if you put a 3/4 magnet in the blade, it blocks the light from the flashlight, and when you swing it out, the blade lights up like a traditional lightsaber, and the magnet locks into the nut.
Super fun.
However, they are not as shock absorbing as the others, and i'm curious if that will lead to blade tips cracking. That would only be applicable to hard surfaces though.
They nylon tips do bounce nicely though, so we'll see.
These tips you can get at home depot. And they work really well.
The design is super shock absorbing. Excellent choice if you have to spin on hard surfaces.
Great for walking sword mode.
If you go on rounded dome tip tip, you can slide these right over for the times when you're training/walking on concrete.
It will kick the balance forward a bit off center, but it's minimal and will add life to your blade.
if you want/need a green tip, these can be ordered directly.
Not as shock absorbent, but still good.
